Default Monogram Colours

Does anyone know exactly when the Monogram range of colours was introduced? My son is in the habit of snapping photos of 75s and ZTs whenever he spots one and emailing them to me, and I've just received another. As it wasn't in an immediately recognisable colour I tried comparing it to one on Reebs' 'The Many Colours' thread and, notwithstanding the limitations of a computer screen, to me it looks like either Bacchus or Aubergine. However, the car is a PPD model on an X plate and I'm sure I've read somewhere that Monogram colours weren't available that early.

I would say it's Dorchester red, looks a bit too dark for Damson red, but I'm sure someone will correct me.

I thought it was 2002.
The X reg car could be a personalized plate

Dorchester was my initial thought, but it doesn't look even remotely dark enough to me.

The initial range of monogram colours were launched in 2002, the range was later extended during 2004.

My vote's on Damson Red.
