For crying out loud! Just been into the back bedroom & the cats are going nuts at the boarded up fireplace, another bleddy pigeon that's fallen down the chimney in there , I had to remove the plasterboard & re-plaster it the last time this happened .
I ought to cut an hole in it let the cats go in & sort it out

LOL No wonder I get nowt,

All quiet on the pigeon front There was lots of flapping of wings a while ago then it' been quiet since, I don't know if it's managed to get out or not but I'm not moving the PC desk & a telephone exchange worth of cables & leads under there today

It'll be them bleddy wood pigeons that have been eating all the grass seed off me lawn that the electricity board guys put down when they back filled the hole in the lawn.

We had one o those chicken crowns for tea with mashed spuds, carrots/swede, cabbage & Brussels sprouts with sage & onion gravy for tea.
Fresh supply of Henry's in stock today so I've just cracked open a bottle.

Gardening should come with a health warning! Garden vac out this morning, clearing leaves etc. Stepped back, tripped, down. Left shoulder, elbow, back of the ribs all aching, jerked my lower back for good measure! Just heading for bed wondering about how I'm going to find a comfortable position

gardening!

Lonely days are long
Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Morning all, the weekend flew past again. It’s dry and very grey here at the moment.
