Default help with transporting a tourer

hi all has anyone got a trailer that is maybe coming to Scotland and could pick up a tourer for me it has no mot therefore needs put on a trailer or i would have traveled down and drove it up the car is in shrewsbury any help would be appreciated thanks in advance

Pm Mor75 on here, he has a transporter and gets around a fair bit.

A hefty vehicle would be needed to tow a tourer on a trailer. overweight and the police will spot it a mile away and impound it.

how much the tourer weight? 1.6/1.7 tonnes?

You could at one time book a test where you live then go pick car up and you are ok driving to a pre booked not.but not sure if law has changed.might be worth looking at .

I do not believe the law has changed but pretty sure there is a limit on mileage. I think the rule is the nearest garage that does MOT's not the nicest place or even the one that has the best coffee etc.........
