It has been mentioned in the past but it wod mean someone with a chrome trim taken it off to be used as a template and the chances of that are slim.

I do have a spare one but I would not let it out of my sight or post it anywhere in case it got damaged or lost

All very well being a purist but where does one start and where does one stop?
Not going that far back Zeb, just to the original badge that appeared on the Mk1 1998 75s would do nicely. I think the Badge on the Mk2 75 is very cheap and nasty, no quality about it at all. If I ever decide to have a Mk2 75????, that badge would be removed immediately. It's a shocker and should never be part of any car bearing the name ROVER. The same type of grill on the Audi spoils the look of their front end also.
Regards,
Telfer.

Default Chrome Inserts Premium Bumper

Hi Nick

We did, they where fully made, the bumbers and chrome trims where made and assembled, the lights where delivered into us then fitted by us, they where then shipped to the production line, in so many words no is the answer to they ebing in operation but in some ways yet. They where made by what used to be called RDS Automotive, which went into administration when MG did, this was because we made HUGE amounts of parts for them, alot of the parts where distroyed when the company was restarted as CAB Automotive, they no longer have any presses as they had to be sold to get some money back ad the presses can be worth anything upto one £80,000, they no make parts for Jaguar Landrover. Because I was a manager for CAB Auto, and I am still involved, I made an agreement with the director to now sell off what is left of all the MG Rover parts, this being the two full premium bumpers, I have loads of mg ZR & ZS spoilers and I also have the MG ZT number plate lights which I will advertise on fleabay shortly also. As i say, everything else was distroyed because of the site being downsized and there being no room.

Hope that answers your question.

PS. The bumpers are still in there zip up bags that they where sent to MG in!!!!
