Hmm...

Might be getting somewhere now

Do you recall whether the cable to the rain sensor goes through the middle of the mirror stanchion or round the side of it please?

pops through the hole in the middle.

Perhaps you wil PM me your number please?

It looks as though the only way to get the plug out of the rain sensor and re-route the cable would be to remove tje sensor cover. Can't possibly get the plug off or on as it is at the monent.

I'm trying to remember exactly, but I think both the cable for the rain sensor goes through the hole in the mirror stem, plugs into the sensor which you then attach to the glass.

I'm at work at the moment, but if I get the chance I'll dismantle my car and take a photo.
