Default ABS Light possibly draining battery

Had a friend ring me tonight with an unusual fault that i couldn't help him with on a 75 .( I only seem to learn about fixing faults with my own car but she's good as gold on that score) He has a car that has a battery drain and a fault where the drivers door wouldn't lock. He's sorted out the door but says that the abs light is staying on even with the keys removed! Anyone had this one before?

Not had this but doing the basic Battery disconnect for 30 minutes may clear it.
Remembering Radio Codes or Sat Nav shutdown procedures as required.
If of course not already done.

If Sat Nav fitted common Battery drain problem caused by the Sat Nav computer not shutting down.
