Default door mirrors adjustment not working

My adjustable door mirrors are not working.

The switches that select which mirror is to be adjusted works (ie the red led shows which one is selected), but when I try to do an actual adjustment - left, right, up, down - nothing happens. Same for both mirrors.

Any advice on where to start looking would be appreciated. Thank you.

As said above, common issue. Take the switch pack apart and clean the contacts with a bit of wd40.

I used these to release the case and the fibreglass pen to clean the contacts:-

A couple of old credit/plastic cards work to free the clips on the switch. Just slide them in at the sides ad push/lift at the same time.

When I bought my car, had no working mirrors.
Removed switch panel, popped it open and wiped contacts with tissue soaked in IPA. (Switch cleaner)
Reassembled and all working 100% ever since.
It’s a a build up of dirt film on the PCB surface that interferes with the contacts.
