Default Coronation Street

Good to see Kevin Webster's Garage in Wetherfield doing their bit to keep Rover 75's going:

Coronation Street this evening (7th Dec 2020), about 7 minutes in:

Abi (sounding exasperated): I can’t believe you’re going all the way to Blackpool for a part!

Kevin: Well, I’ve been searching for a subframe for a Rover 75. It was either Blackpool or Kirkaldy

Abi: You just fancied a jolly!

Kevin: There’s nothing jolly about Blackpool in December. The wind’s like a flaming band saw.

Wife said I should have dropped him a call as I’ve only got about 10 fronts and god knows how many rears in stock

And yes Andy I wouldn’t have minded a little trip up to Manchester

I'm just surprised that anyone would own up to watching Coronation Street

Surprised on 2 counts: 1. That Rover was mentioned. 2. Seeking a subframe; one of the writers must be a Rover owner drawing on personal experience. 😁
