Photgraph need some help starting out.

So a while ago I got a new camera and tried to get into photography as a hobby... I watched lots of videos on YouTube ect and read lots of things online but to be honest I found 90% of it just confusing or contradictory.. So I just stuck my camera on auto and went from there, I love my camera and now want to try again at getting to grips with it. I have looked in my area for maybe a night class on photography but there is nothing that suits my needs. Could a member on the forum maybe point me in the direction of a good solid online course that would take me from the very start to coming off auto and working everything myself... I don't mind paying for a course ( as long as it's not an arm and a leg ) as long as it is well put together and fits my ability and needs.. I look at some of the pictures on this forum and feel sure that somebody here may be able to help me out... Thanks for any help or advice.
