Exclamation Danger of MGR desertion

I've had to get rid of the wife's Chrysler, at last I convinced her, and have bought a 3L diesel twin turbo V6 Jag XF.
Now on the surface it would appear the wife has a new car...
But have you tried driving one of these monsters ? wow.

So I'm afraid to say the MG ZTT is rather neglected at the moment and is in severe danger of being left so. Of course she is still a fine drive, and I'm happy to carry building materials or the dog or whatever in it, so I will keep her for now until next big expense comes up.

I have loved all the miles I have done in the ZTT, even taking it to the south of france with not so much as a hiccup. I have loved all the cussing and blood spilt of working on her.

But the Jaguar... what a beautiful (yes I know, very expensive to repair) car. Afraid it knocks the MG ride over the boundary line. And it has a full Jaguar service history from day one to 2 months ago, new cam belt, all sorts done.
I think this is a keeper, sorry guys and gals, but the MG is no longer No.1

Been driving mine for just over 3 years, and it is a fantastic car, and it has proved to be reliable, less one small problem, when alternator died, but got it changed under warranty.

As for servicing, not too bad, and get it done by an independent rather than an main dealer

Stu

PS post up some pictures of it.

A Jag is about the only car I'd consider swopping the 75 for.
The saloons are indeed nice cars.

I borrowed my friends 2013 Astra van..........it's a canny bit nicer to drive than my ZT and you can get things in the boot.

I've been chauffeured in Stu's Jag, and it's much nicer and quicker than any Rover I've been in

Yes I wouldn't want to be paying the running costs, but at the end of the day you can't take it with you, so if you like it........ enjoy.

My mate had an XF for a bit. I often went in it and thought it was a great car, but he couldn't get on with the headlamps - didn't light up the road ahead enough for him, so he part-exed it for a Merc.

Will take you for a spin in the newer Jag early next year when I take it out of Hibernation
