Default facelift badges fading solution ?

I think we have all seen facelift badges that have faded over time , well today I had some clear vinyl cut to size by a local friendly sign company to fit over the badges on my meteor centre caps. The idea is to block the uv rays so hopefully they will keep their colour. Time will tell

I had not thought of that idea, sounds like something well worth doing to protect the badges.

Is that something the Club Shop might be able to offer?

I put multiple coats of clear lacquer on before applying the badges.

I mean lots of coats. Seemed to have done the trick.

Dead on I sold a load of new old stock union jack badges and a decent coat of lacquer did the trick.
