just got it in it says the costs are 38Euro and 57 Cents,

Basicly DHL says you bought something in a country outside the EU so you have to pay BTW (Our version of VAT) and Customs clearing fee. This is calculated though adding the cost of the product and the shipping costs to you together. Then a percentage is taken and billed to you.

how much these costs are are not specified. So yea they prolly add it to their own bank account and stick us with a higher bill.

I'm guessing they used the 80 $ value added the shipping costs and then a percentage for themselves. My unit was not checked by customs though.

It's all pretty gray but who cares i got my unit so dying to install this puppy

I Checked this AM And I think everyone is tracking. I will admit that it is strange to be leaving from Shanghai.

USUALLY is More like

2010-07-01 18:00:00 SHENZHEN Posting
2010-07-01 18:15:00 SHENZHEN Despatch from Sorting Center
2010-07-01 20:03:59 SHENZHEN Arrival at Sorting Center
2010-07-01 21:06:08 SHENZHEN Despatch from Sorting Center

That may explain the long time to show on the EMS website, if the goods had to move to Shanghai to get out of China due to the Holidays

Cool, the 80$ Worked at least.
But does the invoice show a Breakdown on who gets what ?
I would demand it. My Guess is 25€ for DHL
And if you have the head unit ! What are you doing here ! LOL
