Noisy clock
Sounds trivial I know but the analogue clock in my dashboard makes an annoying sound every minute when the hand moves. It seems overly loud and like a tape/casette jamming.
Are these clocks typical noisy? Is yours noticably audible? If not I may look to swap it. Is the clock easily removed? Can it be removed on its own or does it sit within a wider piece of the dashboard? Cheers David |

They are separate, you just need to remove the dash trim first that surrounds the clock (how to guide in the relevant section on here i believe) then unscrew and replace with another |

If that's the only noise you can hear then you have a lovely car, most owners would trade a noisy clock for a hundred suspension rattles.

Thanks both. Agreed Trikey, I have been turning the radio up to disguise! Yes she’s a lovely car, 2.5v6 with just 35k on the clock and drives like it too.
Funny part is it took me ages to work out where the noise was coming from. |

I don't care what you say... You will never unsee it now and you will also start trying to see if you can tell the time in the reflection
