Default So sad to read....

That since selling my tourer it has been allowed to slowly die. This morning I decided to do a quick mot check and see how she has been doing since 2017. Failures on such basic things as bald tyres, blown bulbs, foggy headlights and no mot since 2019. I spent so much time keeping her tip top. I regret the day I ever parted with her.

Never really a good idea to track down an old car. I used to see a Volvo S80 I traded in a few years ago, it was scruffy, badly scuffed wheels, dent in the wing, fuel filler flap broken off.

If I could find another in really good condition I think I would return to the fold. I miss that car.

Yep that is true enough Steve - the new owner is at liberty to do whatever they want once it is theirs.

As above. When you sell a car, let the emotional attachment go with the car. Otherwise its a bit like worrying about the martial status of the wife that was divorced.

My Ex has had three new owners since I got rid, I'm sure there was also many that took her for a test ride between those owners.

My sympathies. You deserve a VW CC type to help you move on and lose the memories/attachment!

Maybe it's my twisted sense of humour, but I couldn't help but notice the huge innuendo in this.

It’s a bit like looking up your ex on Facebook. Morbid curiosity.
