Default Seat Frame

Does anyone know if the frames for the seats in the ZT and 75 are the same? Obviously the seat foam is all different but I need to know if the frames are different at all.

I've been offered some electric seats from a rover 75 and although I dont particularly want the 75 seats I do want the electric seats. I can take my time and swap the cushions and covers but don't really want to do it all and the expense and find out they are different.

Thanks

The runners are the same but not sure about the upper frame.

I replaced my 75 saloon seats with zt seats. They are pretty much the same in terms of height width and depth but not sure if the frame would be slightly different to support the bucket style side cushions on the zt. I guess the support could just be built into the padding?

Not sure I want to go down the route of having to add extra support. I don't mind the swapping but I want to keep the extra work to a minimum.

Edit. Just re-read what you wrote and I mis-interpreted it!

Can someone check this page for me http://babelfish.altavista.com/babel...c%2fr%2f131094 does it read as if there are two frames as there are two part numbers as both have the same description?

Thanks

From memory the differences are dependant on what features the seats have

Standard
Height and Lumber support
manual or electric
or a combination of the above.

The frames should be similar across MG and 75, it's teh foam and covers that are different. You couldn't put a 75 cover over ZT foam.

You should be ok as long as the seats have the same features, although it's a job abnd a half swapping it all over. Don't forget there's the air bags in the seats too....

There is more than one Seat Frame (Front and Back) listed on EPC so I think they are not all the Same.
In fact various permutations of runners, Widths as well.
