hi chaps ,

my main r75 is cdt auto ,my donor car is cdti auto

can i swop the ecu to increase the bhp or am i dreaming

The ecu alone wont work, and swapping modules would cause ZCS code errors too, min requirement would be ecu + ews immobiliser and key chip wouldn’t bother, better to give Trikey BigRuss Marinabrian a message and get it mapped correctly.

thanks mate

i will be stripping down the donor car soon lots of bits to change door locks rear blind ect . donor car has cruse control also can i put on my 02 cdt ?

Yes it’s fairly simple to swap cruise over as long as the wiring is in place

but to make it work correctly it will need a T4 session

Don't know if here are any T4's near you, but we have an MG/Rover expert here (a little north of Belfast) with one if you need it

Mark's a sound lad. He's been giving one of my cars a bit of TLC recently, am picking it up tomorrow. Definitely worth having a chat with him, but I know he has a pretty heavy workload on right now (I'm in the queue!) so if there's any T4 work needing done it might be a couple of weeks before he can fit you in.
