Picture Required Rear Spoiler
Could anyone help me out, I have recently brought a large boot spoiler from another member and would like to see a how it is attached to the boot lid. I have tried to find a car locally that has one fitted, but without any luck.
I don't want to go drilling holes in the wrong place. Some pictures would be great from the underside of the boot, just so I can see where the holes should be. Thanks Tony |

Hi Steve, many thanks, look forward to seeing how it is correctly fixed.
I am sure two of the bolts go through the bump stop, but I just want to make sure. |

Apologies for being a wee bit off topic but...........
I overtook a rather tatty Rover 400 yesterday, seemingly absolutely standard, apart from a huge alloy high-rise adjustable spoiler, slightly wider than the car, on the boot. I was on my own, otherwise I woud have had my passenger photo it.
The only saving grace was that it could have been a "Q" car, ie huge tuned engine etc, hidden in a standard body. But looking at the car, I doubt it. OK, thread hijack over. Malcolm |

Many thanks for that Steve, I checked the boot and there is a hole already marked where the castle nut goes, so that one will be easy to drill, but the one under the bump stop is not marked, so it will be a bit of guess work.
The pictures help no end. Again Many Thanks Steve Regards Tony |
