Hi All,

Do these units come with a serial port on them? I was just wondering since you can get to the desktop with Petrums Wince patch, can you load other applications that can read engine data?

ODB2 sounds good, any idea if bluetooth dongle could work?

Can anyone give me a ball park price for folding mirrors plus switches and replacement full leather heated interior..i have an opportunity to get these so sale of head unit and getting TMC unit may not go ahead.

Been watching this thread for a while and have decided I am probably going to buy one...Would like to know from someone who has one how well the TMC / RDS works and also
the Bluetooth Phone application works well as the Xtrons single din I have in at the moment works very well..

The only thing that does concern me is the lack of security !..

Also...has anyone been stung for import duty ??

Hi Mark there is one person that has TMC at the mo, we are waiting on the new units to come from Sean, the Bluetooth works fine, I think a lot depends on you mobile phone, the RDS works fine as it should do.

As with any head until security as a problem. You don't tell me you take the radio panel off each time you get out of the car. As these units look like they are the OEM ones, no one apart from another 75 or ZT would want to nick it.

Hi Tony,

I always remove my panel if leaving for more than 30 mins and always when at home overnight. I agree that the specific units would be harder to sell though...Especially once I have security marked it..

Am looking forward to hearing from the people when they get theirs delivered...

I've been fitting and trying out my new unit in place of the Hi-Line in my Mk2 ZT V8 today.

It's going pretty well really but I haven't yet routed the aerial from the boot for the radio.

Sat Nav and DVD works OK as does BlueTooth hands free phone to my BlackBerry.

Just one thing, I don't seem to be able to find my way back to the Main Menu.
I'm stuck on the Console Menu.
The manual is about as useful as a one-armed paper hanger with piles.
I am suffering from brain overload though.

What do I need to press?
