Get that box of white fivers out from under the stairs and treat the young lady

Afternoon all, back from the bike ride about half an hour ago. Things didn’t go to plan,we thought the lakeside route was flat and right along the shore,it wasn’t it was very hilly and a lot of it was in the forest, so we did the 7 miles to the next visitor centre , stopped for a drink then rode back via the road which was only 3 miles. It was far too ambitious to attempt the whole 27 miles at once.

If she goes down the Mamas and Papas route, I'll need the white fivers, the absolute last resort funds from behind the fireplace, and my earnings from about 6 months or so of hanging around street corners at night

Cool

Local and national weather forecast is for heavy thunderstorms this afternoon. No sign of any storms as of yet. Been blooming hot all day, hit 34 this afternoon.

Going to water the garden later.

Then it will be time for a Henry Weston or two.

Evening all, some parts of the factory were reading 38 deg today, way to hot to work!!!

Having a cider with a glass full of ice to cool down now, it’s still mid 20s here.

Tell me about it!! We went down that route when our oldest was born, 22 years ago the 3 in 1 system cost about £500 back then Tried to sell it at a car boot sale a number of years ago for £50 only got ond offer from a bloke who wears a black suit every single day and has tassles hanging from his trouser pockets and wore a funny cap on his head, for £10. I politely declined
