I purchased a camera, it comes with the wires shown in the picture below.

Am I right in thinking the red wire goes to the reverse light, the black to earth and the yellow to the back of the unit?

Many thanksImageUploadedByTapatalk1415700858.990868.jpg

Correct, the red wire connect to the reverse which is the green and brown wire as seen on the left of the picture.

There is also a pink wire that comes out of the back of the DD unit which needs connecting to the reverse circuit.
This makes the display come up automatically when reverse is selected.

Right, so I have to feed the pink wire from the back of the dd, along the head liner and connect it to my reverse wire aswell?

That is what I did, but others have picked up a feed from the green/brown wire behind the dash / fusebox area.

My tales of woe are here.

Hi guys,

I've managed to get the yellow plug for the back of the unit and the wire which will connect to the pink wire to here

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1415724354.316976.jpg

How do I get them under the dash to the back of the DD unit?

Many thanks

Personally i would of gone down the passanger side as theres more room to work, If you remove the kick plates from under the sreering wheel you can feed the wires down the a pillar, as you move to the center console there is a hole that goes into the rear of the DD unit but it is partially blocked by a metal bar.

If your still having trouble pop here and i will do it for you
