If that is the case then it should be just plug and play, but you will need an PC99-x39 or a PC99-x32 adapter, depending on what type of main loom you have BMW or ISO

have a look at Dymanic sounds

PC99-x39 for ISO Connector

http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/autol...earch=pc99-x39

or pc99-x32 for BMW Connector

http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/autol...earch=pc99-x32

and just give them a call and they can advise on the exact need you need

I will help if I can, but I'm only able to use the volume controls on mine. Disappointing but you can't have everything!

I'm going to remove the unit again on Saturday and visit a shop specialising in car radios, SE if they can help

Hi Stu,

He has already spliced the wires from the swc on the double din to the car swc wires.
The problem seems to be the unit not fully working with the steering wheel controls when programming.
My suggestion would be to double check the green and black wires spliced into the blue/orange and blue/purple car loom wires that they are making a good electrical connection

I'll remove the unit and try again.

I assume I didn't connect the swc properly. I disconnected everything, started again and it worked.
Once again thanks and sorry to have been such a pain
