Sadly it seems we all have had or likely to have a family member or ourselves affected by Cancer and it truly frightening and hard to talk about.
Having just gone through it with my Mum and to a lesser degree Ros, its not something I would want anyone to go through but deal with it we must. I'm so lucky that both Mum and Ros received excellent treatment and hopefully they will be free from cancer from now. I do hope that your Sis In Law gets at the very least a better quality of life and to spend precious time with her family. One day hopefully, the world will be rid of cancer once and for all!

Lets hope the chemo does some good here Phil, a friend of mine who I have known since a teenager, was buried last Friday. Sadly I could not not attend his funeral, he died from cancer. But he gave up because chemo made him feel so ill, there is always hope as long as people fight.

I wish your mum Jeff and Ros all the best in the care and follow up they have been receiving. I am just about to close for the night. It is difficult to talk about you are right and has taken me an age just to write this one paragraph. Some hope that by not talking about cancer, that it will go away. One or two, do not know what to say or they get frightened of it and choose to ignore it. Failure to acknowledge anything at all, feels hurtful but that is how some people are made. They don't mean any harm I am sure. In contrast to this, there is a lot of kindness, understanding and goodness in people. Despite the prognosis, we are still hoping that she will make it to Christmas and that if she gets stronger, then she will be fit enough to go to the next level of the treatment. To be honest time is short, but one must try and be strong for her, Jessica, the family ....have a peaceful night Jeff |

Good morning chaps, I just been out to water the flowers, a warm wind blows a busy day We have a painter coming to finish off the internal rooms. A couple of road repairs and the concrete drains are going in up the mountain on the tractor, with the delivery of more expected today and a farm gate to be put in on an access road. Hope we can fit it all in
Discovered a secret hiding place yesterday in the bushes where the workers go to sleep or hide - just happened to come across them sleeping in the bushes in the afternoon lol quite scary given the number of snakes slithering around, but they seemed more scared and sheepish that I had found their hide ....oh well, today is another day |

Good morning everyone, its a dry day here as well so far.
It seems funny being out with Georgie with a torch on these dark mornings and evenings.
