So so Derek but it was worth it to avoid the headache! Taking one or two doesn't seem to make any difference to the pain level in the shoulder I'm supposed to end up taking three, not a chance!

The only problem with that Steve is that you won't be getting the required dose.

Most likely they will cause side effects (doesn't everything) initially and that is the reason for ramping them up over time.
I know it's easy for me to say because I'm not getting the thumping head, but you really should consider persevering for a couple of days to see if that does ease, and if the full dose gives the relief required.

At the very least discuss with your GP or pharmacist.

I agree, with my vast knowledge and tolerance that has been built up over the last ten years of taking pain killers, sometimes it is worth putting up with the side effects for a week or so

It's a thought George but I'll stick with plan A, just waiting for Freddie to come home

I'll have a word with the pharmcist tomorrow, damn site easier seeing him than trying to see a GP! Headache is a known side effect, a mild one I could live with but can't recall ever having one as severe as that!

I can appreciate that Steve but it may be one of those transitional things, see what the pharmacist says anyway.
I hope it improves.
