Trying to sleep is proving pointless!
The sore throat has moved into my ears and jaw and all I can here is popping and fizzing sounds in my ears.

I've tried holding my nose and pushing out but nothing seems to unblock them and it's making me feel sea sick with it!

I thought I'd go back in to work tomorrow but I'm feeling a lot worse now

That sounds bad Jeff, avoid all human contact as you clearly have a case of homo sapien influenza maximus! If a bloke in a big hat comes around with a tape measure then set the cats on him as he is the undertaker from all the old spaghetti westerns.

I hope you feel better soon Mr C

Good morning Richard, it's a simple procedure and works, although they can come back. I had one drained in casualty a few years ago, never felt the needle go in and they took about half a pint off fluid out. it never came back The doc was very nice about it - he said, "that's what we are here for".... expect Steve the Strat - and the daily moan report, Leyland Worldmaster and the Rev Jules will all be along with their brand of humour to cheer you up
