On a nice day (3rd Sunday in August usually!) it is lovely with extensive views all round but today it was drizzly with a bitterly cold wind.

Evening all, It's finally stopped raining and turned into a nice evening. the sweet potato wedgies with that paprika/garlic seasoning packet (Asda) was excellent, definitely will be doing those again Yum.

I'm watching old British pathe news films from yesteryear about engineering and I've sneaked into the missus booze cupboard & helped meself to a nice large malt whiskey.

Having seen the photos Richard, I thought of a caption....

'When the going gets to tough, the tough get going' Seriously 100% for getting the meet together. It did look rather chilly. Some nice photos of the cars and the characters.

They are so funny Rodders .

I love the one where I am giving the thumbs up and you can just see Richard giving it the two fingers the background. "

Good morning all, hope you had a lovely weekend. Yesterday we visited the building traders looking at reclaimed building stock. We are building a foot bridge and an extension for a downstairs bedroom. In the photo, Jessica is measuring up a steel door frame. They asked £20 for it. The building traders were lined up for nearly a mile along the side of the road, so plenty to see and price up Rain later on, 24C is forecast.
