Default what tool for removing rust?

I have my front sub frame off and want to touch up the rust spots.
It wont fit in my shot blaster so that's out.
A wire brush attachment in a drill seems to polish the rust more then remove it.
An Angle grinder with a hard disc for cutting metal in my hands is too aggressive.

what about this?
https://www.screwfix.com/p/erbauer-z...FVAQGwodLGkBNg

or this

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Strip-Remov.../dp/B01N209DRV

or

https://www.screwfix.com/p/non-woven...el-115mm/83915

what do you suggest

thank you

You can get wire brush attachments for angle grinders, and also paint/rust stripping discs that are very effective. Make sure you use gloves and good eye protection

Flappy disc on the angle grinder, but wear a dust mask & eye protection. Or if you have a compressor, a chipping hammer makes short work of rust flakes

if the conponent is small enough for a tank then electrolysis works wonders. I think a subframe is a bit big tho, I guess the bath might do, half at a time but I'm not sure if Mrs Macafee would be very happy.

Item one is ideal, I’ve used dozens of them over the years.
For finer stuff I use a 3M pad like a pot scourer and it’s fixed onto an arbor.

I get them from my son who used them to polish turbine blades on aircraft engines. They only use them a short time then discard them so he managed to get a box from the company with permission.

Ive always used this

https://www.screwfix.com/p/norton-ex...FXgf0wodHLoOjg

Or this

https://www.toolstation.com/shop/p67...kaAl2sEALw_wcB

And these

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B006B3OY...a-422098870768

Takes all rust back to metal but these will eat rust so if very rusty lack of parent material could be an issue.

You can just remove the lose rust flakes etc and then treat with Kurust it kills the rust and goes black.
