Default tip for fitting Front Lower Wishbone Arm Bush

I have fitted one Front Lower Wishbone Arm Bush but am looking for tips before fitting the second.
I managed to push it on so far but then tapped it on using a 32mm socket.
I made the inside of the bush and the metal arm wet to help the bush slide on but it was still a very very tight fit.

Any tips?
I read a post somewhere not to use washing up liquid as a lubricant as it contains salt. What can I use as a lubricant....mmm...... may be the wife could tell me

are such comments allowed or a step to far? No offence meant

Probably the best thing i've read on the internet today!

As for lube, i used some durex when i did my bottom arms and it worked perfectly fine... honestly not making that up
That or WD40, just something to add a bit of slip...

I fitted PollyBushes so was a bit more awkward i think, the durex sorted the problem nicely though! hahaha

Liquid hand soap, or Swarfega original (the green stuff) works perfectly Ian, and remember to push it all the way on in one fluid motion, to avoid the effects of stiction

hand soap, I'll try that. As for getting it on in one motion, if the first is anything to go by, that aint goina happen. I'll give hand soap a go, thanks

You can also try candle wax rub it on the arm and inside the bush, see how that works for you

KY jelly is quite good (it is also useful to help fit your wishbone bushes !)

I have some k lube. This stuff is a veterinary inspection lube that comes in a powder form, 200grams makes 20litres! I use it for putting on tight open cell neoprene freediving suits. It's totally safe on rubber etc

my wife has refused to order some of these, said she would be too embarrassed to answer the door to the delivery man. No idea why ordering something for my car is an issue.

I however, have access to her amazon account
