Your seller is only passing on the information he as been given by the manufacturer, therefore we are going by trust, and to be honest I do not have that much faith in that area these days with cost cutting corners. As I said before by using the same mould as the 1.8 letter M it is open to abuse, I am not saying Nick is doing that as he is a good seller of good products I have bought quite a few items from him, in fact all my diesel mounts came from him when they still had the letter T on them. 1 I also thought that a yellow dot was added to the M mount so that it indicated it was for a diesel and that the right compound had been used ? https://www.mgroverparts.eu/GENUINE-...ONLY-KKH101402 How many 2.0 2.5 petrol mounts do you see about with the letter P on them I have not seen any for sale anywhere.? so are the ones for 1.8 being used on the 2.0 2.5 petrol cars ? 2

Thanks for the clarification on this matter Arctic, I've just checked my engine mount and it does indeed have a yellow dot on it for the diesel compound so I intend to fit it. Thanks all for the help.

ECP (not to be confused with Euro Car Parts) who sold the mount above are good to deal with - and the price for the proper Diesel mount is very good.
Personally, I'm with Arctic on the lettering of the mounts - I'm a little sceptical. I think I'm going to dig out a 'T' lettered mount and test it against a 'new' Diesel mount in terms of force required to twist the rubber, and see if they really are the same.

I have recently put one of the diesel mounts with an 'M' and yellow dot on my car (this came from ECP at Sandy) - I think it is a slightly harder compound than on the old diesel T mount, and does allow a trace of vibration into the cabin, although the gear changes are better since it probably restricts engine movement better. The difference is minimal in my opinion, and probably would not be noticed by the average owner.

just braved the wind and Rain to take off my CDTi's Powerflex Yellow slotted mount thats been on for many years as it was one the first 2 made ?. and swapped it for one of the Dual 2.5/Diesel lower mounts from Matt .. will report back on whether its better or worse in this instance .
The powerflex looks a little bit distorted but still quite intact. I'm still tryin to track down my 2000 rpm harshness. C

Earlier today i decided to try one of the supposedly new mounts which are for the diesel nowadays as the original on my Tourer was starting to split in the usual places, i have had this mount since 24/11/18.
Once fitted right away i can see stress on the rubber and that is only having the engine weight on it, i will check this again after about a months use. 1 If the above does not do it's job I may then try the jag mount in the link below,to see if that fairs better once the bracket as been modified to stop the fouling on the alloy small sectin of the mounts & bracket. https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...&postcount=192 After that it will be the original if i can track one down with the letter T on. ?

Only tried the new mount with a cold motor but so far I say, that theres very little difference to the powerflex, might be a weeny bit better at tickover,
But soon as the rpm hits 2000 or above the car floor still tickles your feet . Quote:

I am starting to think the ZT may need a new mount, but the tray prevents me from trying to look, as does work, dark nights and weather. All this lettering makes me very confused. Are the poly bushes no good? What part do I need for a 2.5 auto? I think I got the one for my black V6 from Matt. Will have to check, but I assume theyre the same.
