We regularly offer members freebies at meets and via the forum - such as keyrings, keyfob batteries etc. No need to be a customer, either - they're open to everyone.
I'm an enthusiast first, and a business second, I can and do help people out with favours all the time.

Don't let logic get in the way of a good argument, though

Any PMs on here are dealt with quickly, sadly a lot of messages from other sources seem to go 'walkies' quite frequently.

We were closed between Christmas and New Year to spend time with family, but this was mentioned during checkout by the delivery estimate presented being well into the New Year - we were still answering emails etc.

Good to see tantallon 'on the bounce' as soon as something negative comes up, like clockwork
We have thousands of happy customers, sometimes things go wrong - it's hardly 'ludicrous', more a fact of life. We'll make sure it's all rectified, of course - but don't let that get in the way of your agenda...

If anyone has an outstanding query, please drop it to me via PM so I can check it out now - I'll plonk myself in the office with a cuppa for the foreseeable so I can make sure it's all dealt with.

I think a lot of these issues would be helped/resolved if you supplied a phone number, even if it is specified as only for use during normal business hours. Communication is key !!

Cheers and Happy New Year

I absolutely agree - but when I'm out delivering to garages in the day, telephone calls would mostly be a case of 'I'll check and call you back when I'm in the office'.
I'd never get anything done - emails mean I can handle things when back at the desk with all dispatch notes etc to hand.
Granted, we appear to have an issue somewhere which I'm looking into now - but it's worked well for many years.

Delivery methods also appear to need work, it's not good that some orders have taken so long to land when in the hands of our couriers - also something I'm looking into.

How did you place your order? via the phone speaking with mat or some digital system? As there is no phone number for mat I suspect via a digital system. For goodness sakes how many companies will allow customers to place an order while they are closed and for the company to action when they open?

Come on Mat! You've had courier problems for quite sometime now! Its the reason why I don't use your lovely services anymore. If you can crack that then I'd use you again.

I've never had a problem.

Keep up the good work Mat, we'd be knackered without DMGRS.

I would only use a company that has contact details .Not a company where it seems you have to be in a cliche to obtain contact .There are millions of on line companies trading .They also have contact numbers ,answer machines etc etc.
It is normal to want to speak to the recipient of your orders and cash when you haven't received your order.I only speak as I find and see and it seems there are a lot of disgruntled customers .Not all of us are the blindfolded cliche that seems to exist .I have received PMs from other "members" I use the phrase lightly as this is not a club but a business .DMGRS is part of that business as it is registered as a trader and pays subscriptions. The "committee should not allow this to continue .Reading the posts some customers have been waiting for parts far too long without reply .Its amazing how suddenly people appear out of the dark when criticised.

We have a fair few bits you can’t just grab elsewhere. There’s plenty of suppliers, but each has their merits
