You got thumped last night Bob, we're in for it tomorrow into Saturday, yellow warning for wind and rain.

Morning everyone, it's wild wet windy & chucking it down here, lots of standing water from the hammering through the night.

Morning all - it's a sopping wet day here, so I doubt I'll cross the threshold.
I think I prefer the blue skies and white frost days instead of grey and dank like today. I've got loads of my sister's paperwork to dispose of, so I think I'll sit myself down with a cup of coffee (laced with rum of course) and feed it all to the shredder,

Shred a bit at a time Rod or, if its like mine, the motor thermal cut out will trigger and you're stuck til it cools down again.

Blimey! I made the mistake of looking for something that fell down the back of the computer desk. It meant I had to move everything out and ended up cleaning/vacuuming.

It's amazing where all the dust comes from frightening.....cough.....dirty get

Hiya Chuck Julien, thank you. The docs took me off the drips today. I am having all of the medication I/V, but they are weaning me off it in preparation for going home. No results yet from the biopsies. No antibiotics. They want me to have a Colonoscopy in 7 days time, because it takes 7 days to stop the blood thinners. I suggested I come back as an outpatient. This afternoon, I have been up and about, walking around the ward. I have to wear nappies borrowed from the labour ward. They are not comfortable as they are designed for women with fat asses. Loose fit, so I have to hold onto the nappy whilst I am walking. A minor inconvenience.

I am still getting the runs and when the medics came round this morning, they were very upbeat, laughing and joking, happiness filled the air. My bedpan had not been emptied. They looked at the liquid poo and said “thank you Phil, thank you very much, your poo is very interesting for us to see and sniff”. I had to laugh.

Lunchtime a tray of food arrived. I had the Pumpkin soup and bread, Jessica ate the fish - Grilled Nile Perch Fillet and she ate the dessert, warmed Apple Pie with a side dollop of cream
