Double Perv. I'll have to buy her a bottle of upholstery shampoo to go with her rubber gloves.

Blimey! the roads around Southport weren't as busy the last time I was over there in 1974 Every road was jammed chocabloc with traffic

Cracking bargain on the ebay carpet/upholstery clear as new £70.

God I'm bored! Power is off all day, planned maintenance, off til 16:30. Least I've got my "club meet" gas stove so I can keep the caffeine levels up. Only way I can get online is with my phone but the signal is iffy and it's like an eyesight test. All I've got to "entertain" me is a radio.

Pops wouldn't let me near her sore foot so had her at the vet first thing. Vet discovered the dew claw is gone, just a raw looking stump, that's gotta hurt! Vet gave her a painkiller jag, also got some tranquilliser pills which will, hopefully, make getting groomed less stressful for her. Left the vet's 43 quid lighter!

That’s the same one as I have, it works great on the cars upholstery and carpets too.

I got an older version of that cleaner locally on Gumtree for fifty quid a few years ago. Still going strong.

Can feel the temperature dropping here but can't do anything about it til the power comes back on.

That's good to know Andy We have a Vax carpet shampooer but it's getting a bit cream crackered now and we needed a machine that could do both jobs to clean the living room suite and stairs/carpets. Bought a bottle of that 'Rug doctor' upholstery shampoo.
we'll see how that does! I wanted to drag them outside & snowfoam em,

Yeah same here Steve, beautiful sunny afternoon but there's no warmth in the sun.
We've been informed by Virgin media that the broadband will be down for one day next week.

Poached smoked haddock spuds & veggies for tea tonight

They waited right til the last minute before switching the power back on, 16:30. Now see about warming the house up a bit. Don't have dinner to cook, just reheat, cooked it yesterday.

Got the same to go through on Thursday, valentine's day! Romantic dinner will be a cheese sarnie. Got the added hassle on Thursday that the work being done directly affects the supply here and they have to carry out checks here before the power goes off and before it goes back on. Work they were doing today didn't directly affect here but we are on the same feed.
