Afternoon all, what a dark miserable day, it's still raining here & I've got the house lights on. Just made a cottage pie for tea.

I paid a local and longstanding camera shop £5.99 to take my photo expecting to have to send one of the 4 supplied prints off with a written application via post. In the event the online process allows you to upload a photo with your online application and this I did after scanning one of the 4 prints into my laptop. Hopefully if all goes well my new passport will arrive within the passport office's 3-week eta but any further progress for now is dependent on my old passport arriving safely at the issuing office in Belfast - I sent it recorded delivery to facilitate this.

Weather not too bad here today, certainly not what I would call Mercedes weather.

Wind and rain is the worst for me to endure, that is what I regard as Mercedes weather.
