There was tread, well at least you could see where it had been. Not bad I got 12,000 out of the rears and 16,000 out of the fronts.

Cracking tyre shop. Proper run family business. Wilf Dawes started the place up over 40 years ago, now run by his two daughters and one son, Lizzie, Caroline and Charlie.
So friendly, all on first name terms. And they make you a cuppa, all part of the service.
And they were well impressed by the Bear, they knew they existed but had never seen a ZTT, with a go faster box attached.
Got to go back tomorrow so that they can check the torque on the bolts and tyre pressures.

In for a penny in for a pound, filled the Bear up with go go juice. Should be enough for today.

Morning all, weather is supposed to be good today so ive got a mix of garden as im putting up a shed to use as a workshop and a bit of car stripping lol, i had a bit of luck this week, i was working on the car last weekend and a very nice chap pulled up and asked what was wrong, i explained and he said he had quite a few zt's and he try's to save them...anyway long story short he has the special tools to do the timing on my 190 and has let me borrow them, he literally lives a few streets away...talk about luck lol......so ill be stripping the beast later today and hopefully will finally get an answer on what i believe has been the main problem with my car since i bought it...... ooooo and in case you see this, thanks very much Chris

That’s good to hear, not many places that care these days Bob, make sure you run the tyres in for a couple of hundred miles before giving it some 👍

Morning all - at last - it's a couple of degrees warmer, I can feel the warmth getting to my joints already.
If things keep on improving, I might even do something out of doors - a walk to the bottom of the garden and back perhaps

Afternoon all, what a beautiful warm sunny afternoon it's turned out to be. there are even young ladies walking about in skimpy attire instead of jackets
