Front springs KV6 auto - which type?
Hi all,
Just found one of my front springs broken. Thank god for the tyre protectors! Anybody knows which color code these springs have for a -99 Saloon, V6 Auto? Is the front springs for the manual the same? I see that there is a load of springs to choose both genuine and aftermarket. I am not sure I am willing to take the chance of aftermarket ones with the risk of getting the wrong one. I have a used front spring from a manual available, but nor sure if this one will fit. Thanks P.S. Found out the springs are color coded Green/Blue from the label underneath the backseat. Anyone know if the springs for the manual are the same? As far as I am aware the auto and manual use the same springs.
Green and blue are usually the correct colour code but some V6's are fitted with green and purple colour code normally found on diesels Russ

A pair of genuine green/blue springs just ordered from Rimmers. My wallet are crying a bit, but going the expensive route to make the correct parts are acquired :/
