Hey there - Yeah, that second one looks pretty good to me. I had the rad/condenser/intercooler off mine recently although I didn't split the parts up as I had a complete replacement unit to drop in.
Obvs the key thing is to get the air con de-gassed and also it's apparently a good idea to replace the O Rings on the air con pipes. DMGRS has them in stock for not a lot of cash. You can also check your intercooler O Rings at the same time. Have fun - it's actually quite a nice job. |

Don't worry - it's mainly big panels!
I jacked my car up and put stands under the jacking points to get the undertray off, that makes it much easier to remove the bumper (and put it back on). The bumper, lights and crash bar are quick to remove, then you can undo the retaining bolts for the front panel (with the bonnet release cables and air intake atttached) and just lift that onto the top of the engine. You've then got unfettered access to the radiator/intercooler and condenser. |

slam panel etc removed. I thought I had to undo the plug on the back of the horns
so wasted time doing that and removing the two torx screws that hold the top plastic fittings holding the radiator. It does not say it in post two so why did I do it, eeerrrrr. Have put the bits back on, now waiting for air con man to arrive. post two and the link were really helpful, made the job easy macafee2 |

Something that is not mentioned when doing it outside.
If the sun is out, wearing a cap will stop the sun getting in your eyes. You're welcome.
