"Mush from a Turk"??? something lost in translation there ...

Don't take my reply the wrong way, just wanted to make sure it was clear - its not really a 'spyhole' more for cleaning out the drains - it took some calculating getting the hole centered over drain I can tell you!

Cheers

Sorry, over my head there - not from these parts you see ... we don't talk like that in Malta G.C.

Mine seems to be an automatic system now - since I made the spyhole it's never been anything but clear! I've even taken it apart again just to make sure the spyhole wasn't lying.

Very good mod, check the drain in seconds, while the bonnet's up to check oil, water etc

Edit; Now why didn't the quote box work, when it normally does? - fixed

Neat job. How did you cut the hole to fit the grommet?

2.5 cm dia hole-cutter on drill and then a little filing to get the edges 'smooth' and then just pop on the grommet. Took me much longer trying to figure out where to drill the hole!!

So THIS distance would be really useful for any 'How To', or anyone else (like me) thinking about doing it. Many thanks for your help.
