WinC phone charging
Hi,
Can anyone tell me if Sean's WinCE units have a USB port for charging a mobile phone? Is so is it located at the front or the rear? I like the idea of feeding a lead into the glovebox so I can charge my phone out of reach.

Sorry, I know you can, but don't know exactly where, as Coolcat fitted mine, including a cable coming out of the glovebox. I'm sure he'll be along in a minute to answer you. :-)
very best regards Else

There is a mini usb port on the front of the unit that can be used for charging just below the right hand knob.

A lot of modern phones (especially iPhones) support faster charging with a 2.1A outlet - although you'd need to either use the cigarette lighter socket or fit a 'custom' 2.1A fed socket elsewhere.
I've just fitted one to mine, and it's brilliant.
