Chilly breeze and overcast. Funeral of a friend (only 49) today. Typical funeral weather! Shall be well wrapped up as it's a late start (4 pm).

Been keeping busy with one of my projects, now waiting for a few parts (not car related!):-

The bridge is in GuanDong or somewhere near and the tuners are stuck somewhere near Newcastle for some reason! This may take some time! What's the betting that the Chinese beat the Geordies?

The wind has picked up here with some strong gusts, I've shifted some plant pots & garden furniture out of the way of the wind & been to the tip with that recliner chair.
That's me done for the day.

Ah, the delights of setting up a new bridge, fixed or floating? Lot of muttering involved in setting up a floating bridge

Floating bridge (Wilkinson). This will be about the fourth time of setting up this year as I have been experimenting with string alternatives, a slot in trem as oppose to the screw in and I also now have my two project Strat copies!

Hi all,

As Phil said . I'll pop stuff up on here shortly.

Those on Facebook got to track the live videos and progress reports.

We had a great smooth run and arrived ahead of schedule.

As soon as we had moored up I had to jump in my car and drive the crew back to Lowestoft and Acle and straight back home.

Needless to say I was a bit cream crackered and went to bed early.

I'm just off to the boat in a minute to put some bits back on board as tomorrow doesn't look nice for doing that

I'll get some photos etc up on my return and catch up with everyone

Sorry to read you lost a friend aged 49 years old, that is too young.
