Default Wind noise passenger side

Have read heaps of posts regarding a wind / airflow noise which appears around the 50kph mark.
Seems to be coming from around the passenger side mirror area or door seal area.
Tried to tape up various bits up to no avail.
Appears heaps of 75s and zits have had this issue , some from new looking at post dates, but all of the posters never really found the cause apart from the possible cause being new type mirrors fitted around late 2003 or bending the top of the door in a little to make a better seal.
Only thing I haven't done is take to mirror off to see if the rubber seal inside the mounting area is ok .
Anyone ever nailed this wind leak down ?
