Morning, hazy sunshine here. Had some rain yesterday evening but nothing much to talk about, just enough to water the garden a bit.

Yeah me too, The humidity is terrible, I got the i5 PC up & running great & finished a few garden chores now it's time for a cold shower & a cold apple juice
The sky has darkened & I can hear thunder in the distance. The forecast is for thunderstorms & heavy rain from 5:00pm onwards.
Salad again for tea tonight.

And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Rain forecast from 8pm then heavy from 11pm til 4-5am, yellow warning from midnight onwards.

Got myself a windproof ciggy lighter at one of the many souvenir stalls in Rome. Bit wary about using it, windproof lighters usually have a stronger flame, this thing is like an acetylene cutting torch! Nearly burnt my nose a couple of times.

We had an extremely heavy rain about 6.30 and it’s still looks like it will rain later on.
Tomorrow my son and I are off to Holy Island at the north part of Northumberland, and the weather is about 23° tomorrow. We must leave the island before the tide rise above the island road about 14.30 until about 19.45.No way we want to be there stuck with nothing to do ffor overview 5 hours.

Holy Island is one of my favourites on the North Eastern coastline. It's a healing place for so many reasons. Whether you are a believer or not, the church there is a place of calm and tranquility (apart from when the scaffolders are there- don't ask how I know this!)

We've had a half a day at East Ruston Gardens in Norfolk and it was beautiful. They are "wilding" parts of it and it is great to see the wild versus the manicured bits. Himself, had his beemer and Bentley on display. Both looked lovely, particularly the soft top Bentley.

Got thunder in the distance now, hope it doesn't get bad, Maya and Pops don't like it, Suzy doesn't give a toss.

Update: No major thunder but some pretty serious rain now, hammering down.
