Default Wanted 1 din Radio Mount

Does anyone have a single din mount there do not want any more?? (willing to buy)

I am looking at chopping it about to fit a 2 din unit that I am buying.

I don't want to spend a lot on it as I want to experiment until I get get per perfect (we as perfect as I can)

Thanks for the replies Steve & Andy, CDTi has given me a link for the E46 one, so rather than playing about TRYING to make it fit I have gone for one from Germany.

Will post pix's when the unit is installed.

Hi Philip

Yes I have brought a 2din unit

http://cgi.ebay.es/2DIN-RADIO-DVD-GP...d=p3911.c0.m14

It has TMC, RDS and Digital TV which is something I wanted for car, I travel around 350 miles a week, so the traffic information is so handy, I only had the Extrons unit fitted for about a month, whilst I am happy with the unit, not being able to get TMC working with the Extrons unit is a pain

Now you are trying to make me jealous, be something for me to be green with envy over at the Peterborough meet - but at least I'll have my new Igo to play with.

mmm, providing everything goes to plan, I hope to have it installed for the meeting, but it is coming from Spain, they advised me the dleivery is 7-10 (working days?) days strange you order something from China and it arrives (normally) within 5 days, but from Spain 7-10 Days??

I have ordered a 2din mount from from Germany, which should only be 2-4 days

Hopefully I will be as happy with this unit as I am with the Extrons unit

Hopefully it will be in on time but if not well I guess I can see exactly what you have achieved with your current Xtrons (sorry don't mean to be selfish! ).

I was hoping to have my private plate in time for the meet but looking unlikely now. Never mind be ready for the next one

Philip

I changed my plate with no problem, send it off and within 11 days, I had all the documents back, it might just be the wrong time of the year, due to the new reg's coming out
