Default Abs

Right this has been going on for some time now & im no further forward
The ABS warning light came on & being a novice went through fuses & relays
etc with no joy....I replaced both front sensors but the light remained on so i got Brian over who plugged my connie into his T4...It showed the fault as being with the front passenger sensor which i again replaced but the dash light remained on...I then changed the actual hubs but the fault remains.
There as been moments when the light has gone out mainly when the car has stood for a while & while its out if i brake very lightly the ABS kicks in even at 10 mph..So is there anyone out there who have had simlar problems & if so what should i do
