It is still cheaper than being on SSP because you have seriously damaged yourself.

Things like this I always get a professional to do it.

I'll print that out and put it on the door of my workshop! (aka the place where people say "You've got a lot of s#1t in here")

Also Penny Pinching is my bosses mistress! She's responsible for many an unexpected surprise

I have to agree on that one where spings involved if unsure wrong tools pay someone. I still pay people to do the big heavy springs now. Some of the early mercs I take the leg of nip down and get the main vauxhall dealer to do it for me. They have a air run spring compressor which will compress up to 80 ton and its full inclosed you lock the leg in place fit the clamps on the springs and shut the cage door. Do it all from 2ft away when its compressed you put you hand in a small hole buzz the top nut off get hou hand out and again decompress the spring from 2 ft away. I am not ashamed to admit I dont like doing springs at all lol

When it comes to popping that top nut on I sometimes use a socket on an extension with a couple of UJ's so if it does let go it just takes the extension out of my hand....
