Hello John

Give the following a try:

Pop the sim card back into your old phone and copy all of your contacts to the sim card as the contacts might be stored on your phone memory.

Once you have copied or checked the contacts are stored on your sim card insert into your new phone and hopefully you should seen the contacts displayed.

Only thing to be careful of is when you move your contacts onto the sim you lose a lot of info such as addresses etc. The sim doesn't have the same contacts storage capacity as the phone.

One other possibility, most phones have an option what contacts location the phone reads, sim, phone or both. Open contacts and have a nose around in the menu.

Nev, Steve, thanks for the tips, when I go into contacts, I see "more", in there is " delete, manage linked contacts, mark as default, share contact and add shortcut. I think I will call into the 02 shop next week and let them have a look. I'm scared I will wipe everything off. Thanks again, John.

Thanks for that, I will have to wait until my grandson comes for his tea, he knows what he is doing, they're all experts at his age. John.
