I don't get it. He bought it for £1,500, had it machine polished and put four new tyres on it and now it's had £4,100 bid on it?

Interestingly, although there were bids of £6,600 and then £6,700 at one stage, the auction actually ended at £6,350 so it looks like a couple of bids were retracted.
