Hi Tim yes its the B&G one is there any way of fitting a standard right hand gear shift knob on it. If so what part no?

No real idea how it's done on the Autobox, but if it is anything like the ZT 260 (and there's no reason that it should be) then it simply unscrews. I have an aluminium X-Power one in my ZT

So far my options for LPG seem to be
Not terribly keen on putting the tank behind the seat (not terribly useful for carrying stuff), so i've found another possibility from history...
Put the Tank on roof!! (apparently common in WW1)

Talking lpg

Got car back seems at least 15% more powerful on gas what a change, well impressed even managed to hit the rev limiter twice (autobox) never did that on petrol. The revs pick up realy fast. The boot now about the size of a nissan micra's lol.filled tank drove for 255 miles used 57.74 litres which is 38 MPG was a long run with bit of city driving kept about 56mph with very light right foot. If it stops raining will take photos this weekend.

I think you need to check your sums that is around 21MPG to me or do you mean the equivalent of 38 MPG at petrol prices?

If you were really getting 38MPG I will have one as well please

Can you still get into the well without obstruction to get at the battery etc?

Please post PICs front and back if poss as I would like to see what has been put where

Default lpg

Hi Keith
Yep equivalent of 38 MPG at petrol prices. When I brought the car home from B&G up to Stranrear and across to N.Ire I kept to the speed limits again gentle right foot she was doing 26.5 mpg on petrol roughly same driving on gas is giving me about 19 mpg and with getting it half the price of petrol don't need to drive the diesel vectra yahoo! (Unless taking the wife shopping, going on holiday or anything involving a boot)
PS still can access the battery,cd changer etc will take photos just too wet and windy at the moment.

Yup!
but I don't have a bayonet.. or a sunroof..
mind you as I rarely carry passengers, maybe I should remove the seats and fit the tank there...
(I had considered swapping out the petrol tank, but thats not practical, or in fact legal)
Can anyone think of got a less "off the wall solution"??
Jonathan

must have V8 power
must have V8 noise
must have LPG running costs...
