Default Who Rolled This Then?

Only registered to the factory - so I wonder who rolled it then?

Also, did anyone on here buy it?

Could this be the 260 that was rolled at Brands Hatch when it was taking part in a 'Drifting' competition

Less than 3k is not bad, you would be paying that and a bit more for just the engine & box.

Bit confusing. Its a mk1 but the wheels are older than the lip spoiler on the back. Apex's were being put on by the time the lip was going on.

Do you think I need to get out more

Yup, twas the car that was set up for the drifting competion before the fool from Lotus I believe parked it on its roof from a great height. They guy however, un clipped his seat belt and walked away, shaken but not damaged - unlike the car! It was set up really well apparently by Andy Kitson and co so they had to resport to another car that they had there (a yellow one) and carry on.

It was a chassis engineering car so it had all sorts of things not standard on it. The lip spoiler was fitted long before Apex wheels came into existance. In fact, the Apex wheels arrived only a few months before the face lifted cars. - I've really got to get out more!

I think the tracking is out as well

I may sound a bit hard here but the drivers racing skills seem a bit lacking. Being a Lotus driver perhaps he was not use to the power

Track looks wet from the video too.

The insurance claim must have been amusing:
"Yes.. I was just driving along around this gentle right hand bend when all of a sudden the car jumped up into the air...."

Took my VX220 out today for the first time since getting my 260 and couldn't believe how much more powerful it felt.

200+ BHP in 900KG is a different beast altogether than 260.

Back to the clip, the car seemed to have a terminal case of understeer...must have been pretty damp as a car set up for drifting should have had loads of front end grip.

BTW what is the wieght of a standrad 260.
