Back to the clip, the car seemed to have a terminal case of understeer...must have been pretty damp as a car set up for drifting should have had loads of front end grip.

BTW what is the wieght of a standrad 260.
non-se is clained to be 1681kgs, about a caterham too much imho

I still hanker after a vxt

All the runing gear is being reused, anybody know were to get the ECU checked as its a non runner and the ECU gone rusty from the leaking smashed screen. OUCH

Try this place, as advertised in December Car Mechanics. Nothing on their website at the mo.

Mike

All ECU's remapped by postal service.
Also remove crash data from air bag controllers & recode...

Steve,

First up, welcome.

Next, can i ask a small favour? Could you possibly post the last three digits of the VIN on here (build number) please?

With only 833 of these made (and only 217 Mark 1s (188 Saloons, 29 Tourers) there are people collecting data on them for posterity.

For the record, i am VIN #27

Good luck with the rebuild and if you are looking for a home for the rubber pencil mat from in front of the gear lever, let me know!
