Default Display says passenger door open.

Hi all,

At the weekend I had my display saying that the passenger door was open, when it wasn't.
Obviously some cold / damp has gotten into a sensor / BCM somewhere.
My question is, where is the sensor please?
Is this something I can give a quick squirt of WD40 to? Or is this not the correct way of doing it?

Many thanks

Richard

Often happens in frosty weather to mine. Usually goes out after a couple of miles.

Yep, happens like that on mine too, first thing noticed when all is back to normal is interior lights going out, then a glance at the display confirms all is good.
