Nope, but reading your previous comments it read as though you (as it seems some others believe) that people believe that they have been told the vaccination will make them immune to even catching covid-19 and some of its variants, I apologise if I misunderstood. People need to realise that these precautions are not about getting or not getting the virus, but actually about lessening its effect on society and the health service servicing it.



Shouldn't your mother get vaccinated then? Or perhaps that's not how it works?

She did, and has now had both (as my father too). But it doesnt mean that she is immune to it. Her underlying conditions and previous health issues make her very prone to the additional conditions that covid can induce.

Hearing that in Japan less than 5% of the population have been vaccinated, sadly this backs up my early supposition that this will run for a long time. The vaccination is not actually suitable for everybody and there are some who will not accept it, but until the majority of a population is immune, either naturally after illness, or after successful vaccination, there is not enough control to inhibit the virus.
